A Next.js app that gives an ElevenLabs agent a Simli avatar.
The page connects to your ElevenLabs agent over a WebSocket, with a signed URL that a server action gets using your ElevenLabs API key. It sends the agent your microphone and plays the agent’s voice through the avatar with the JavaScript SDK. To run it, rename .env_sample to .env and fill in your Simli and ElevenLabs API keys, your ElevenLabs agent ID and a Simli face ID, then run npm install and npm run dev. The README has the details.
This starter creates the Simli session token in the browser, with your Simli API key in NEXT_PUBLIC_SIMLI_API_KEY, so anyone who opens the page can read the key. Use it for local demos only. Before you deploy, create the session token on your server instead, as in Create a session token.
